SALLIE WILLIE CARTER

SALLIE WILLIE CARTER, a beacon love and warmth, peacefully departed this world on November 25, 2024, on her 97th birthday. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 25, 1927, Sallie dedicated her life to nurturing her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and care that will never be forgotten.

Sallie was not only a loving mother and a devoted friend but also a cherished member of the community. She had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved. Her gentle spirit and her commitment to her family were evident in all she did – from the sweet family gatherings that filled her home with laughter to the quiet moments of kindness that she extended to those in need. Her joy was found in the simple pleasures of life; whether it was sharing a meal, telling stories, or simply being present, Sallie exemplified the essence of love with her every action.

Her life’s journey came to an end in the very city where it began, surrounded by memories and legacies that she created throughout her remarkable years. While the world will miss her radiant smile and caring heart, her spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Those who wish to honor her memory are invited to attend a viewing on December 2, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation located at 5701 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, TX 76119. A funeral service in her honor will take place the following day, December 3, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, situated at 2823 North Houston Street, Fort Worth, TX 76164.

Sallie Willie Carter leaves behind a legacy of love, and while her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will perpetually resonate within the hearts of those she touched. As we gather to celebrate her beautiful life, may we find comfort in the memories that unite us and the love she so freely shared. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of SALLIE WILLIE CARTER, please visit our flower store.
