MILDRED DELORES MITCHELL, a beloved mother and friend, gracefully departed this world on November 24, 2024, in Arlington, TX, at 75. Born on April 17, 1949, in the tranquil town of Grand Cane, Louisiana, she carried the warmth of her Southern roots throughout her life. Mildred’s spirit was as expansive as the Texas sky, filled with love, joy, and an unwavering kindness that touched all fortunate enough to know her.

Her laughter echoed in the hearts of family and friends, brightening even the dullest days. Mildred possessed a rare ability to make everyone feel seen and valued, a gift that she shared unabashedly. Each encounter was marked by her gentle spirit and sincere interest in the lives of those around her, crafting indelible memories that will be cherished for generations.

Visitation to honor Mildred’s life will take place on December 3, 2024, from noon until 7:00 PM at the GOLDEN GATE FUNERAL HOME and A CREMATORY-SUITE, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Friends and family are invited to come together, reflecting on the moments that painted her life with love and laughter.

The celebration of her life will continue with a Funeral Service on December 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM, held at SKYVUE MEMORIAL GARDENS, situated on Farm to Market Road 1187 in Mansfield, TX 76063. In this beautiful resting place, Mildred’s legacy will forever reside, nestled amidst the serenity of nature, where her spirit can roam freely among the trees and flowers she adored.

As we gather to remember her, let us not only mourn her departure but also celebrate the incredible woman she was—a nurturing heart, a loyal friend, and a radiant soul whose love remains timeless. Mildred Delores Mitchell’s light will continue to shine brightly through the lives she has touched, forever illuminating our path.
