“It’s Happening at Wynnewood” Community Event

The Wynnewood Village Shopping Center is hosting the “It’s Happening at Wynnewood” Community Event on Saturday, November 16, at 11:00 a.m. at 655 W. Illinois Ave to promote the exciting development at the beloved Oak Cliff shopping center.

This event will have a special program kicking off at noon where attendees will be able to hear from distinguished speakers and community leaders such as District 1 Councilmember Chad West, Mayor Pro Tem Tennell Atkins, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, Wynnewood North HOA President Denise Requardt, Vice President of Re-Development at Brixmor Property Management Brett Milke, and Senior Vice President of Equity Compliance at JBJ Management Noa Dowl

Since its founding in 1949, Wynnewood Village has met the local community’s needs with department stores, office buildings, grocery stores, banks, and more. 

Now, Wynnewood Village is evolving to continue to serve the community with the addition of a new Target store, Bath & Body Works, James Avery, Burlington, LA Fitness, expanded green spaces, and additional amenities to create a family-friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy well into the future.

Families and individuals of all ages are invited to Wynnewood Village to celebrate this historic transformation. The “It’s Happening at Wynnewood” event will feature a symbolic groundbreaking, food trucks, family fun, door prizes, giveaways, and plenty of food and entertainment for everyone.   We look forward to seeing you there.
