Outside of the Dallas Police Department headquarters on Monday, the first day of early voting, Minister Dominique AlexanderPresident & CEO of the Next Generation Action Network, Clergy, Community Leaders, Civic Groups“, gathered to discuss amendments on the ballot.

According to Alexander they were taking a stand against the proposed HERO Dallas Charter Amendments, which he said threaten to divert millions of dollars from essential services and prioritize policing over community needs.
