Donna Anthony, a beloved member of the Dallas community, passed on September 6, 2024, in her hometown of Dallas, Texas, at 68. Born on October 15, 1955, Donna’s life was marked by her dedication to family, creativity, and her work in the education sector.

Donna had a commendable career working for the Dallas Independent School District, where her genuine spirit and honest approach had a lasting positive impact on the lives of countless students and colleagues. She was known for her directness, never hesitating to speak her mind when it came to advocating for those she cared about. Her personality shone through in all her interactions, characterized by her loving nature and her commitment to prayer.

A profound creative talent, Donna found joy in cooking and often expressed her creativity through food, and crafting meals that brought family and friends together. She cherished these moments and was immensely proud of her family, who were her greatest accomplishment.

The family will hold viewing services on September 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on September 17, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at the same location. The final farewell and burial will take place on September 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.

Donna Anthony will be remembered as a loving, outspoken, and genuine person whose influence will resonate within the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of creativity and strong family values will continue to inspire all those she touched throughout her life.
