Sandra Kaye Waters, born on August 19, 1945, in Dallas Texas, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, in her beloved hometown. She was a cherished member of the community and a dedicated Day Care Educator who touched the lives of many children throughout her career. Sandra’s commitment to education and nurturing young minds was evident in the countless lives she influenced positively.

Sandra earned her bachelor’s degree, an example of her dedication to lifelong learning, which she instilled in those around her. Her passion for teaching went beyond mere instruction; she created a warm and welcoming environment for her students, encouraging curiosity and imagination. Her contributions to early childhood education were invaluable, and her legacy will continue through the many children she educated and inspired.

She is fondly remembered for her kindness, warmth, and tireless commitment to the well-being of others. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Sandra will recall her infectious smile and the joy she brought to everyone she encountered.

The viewing will be held on August 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. Following this, a funeral service will take place on August 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, also in Dallas. Sandra will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on September 3, 2024, at 11:30 AM.

Sandra Kaye Waters’s life was a celebration of education, compassion, and community. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her impact will forever be etched in the hearts of those she loved and taught.
