VERNETIA RICHARDSON GILDER, (Tina) born on September 30, 1949, gracefully embraced life until her passing on August 16, 2024. A true embodiment of joy and spirit, Vernetia stood out in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Vernetia was renowned for her caring nature and playful personality. She had a zest for life that was infectious and a flair fashion that reflected her vibrant character. Music was a pivotal part of her life, and she often found joy in singing, letting her voice resonate with the love for tunes and melodies. Her appreciation for movies and television provided her with countless moments of enjoyment, and she cherished the hours spent engrossed in captivating stories. Vernetia was also an avid reader, finding peace and inspiration in the pages of her Bible.

Her legacy will be honored through a series of services at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224, where family and friends can pay their last respects. A public viewing will be held on August 23, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a wake service starting at 8:30 PM and concluding at 9:30 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, August 24, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 AM, with a graveside service scheduled for 10:30 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park, located at 8100 Fireside Drive, Dallas, TX 75217.

Vernetia Richardson Gilder will be deeply missed, yet her spirit, characterized by love and joy, will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
