Lorenzo Smartt, a loving husband, devoted father, and esteemed veteran, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Royse City, TX. He was born on June 5, 1943.

Lorenzo will be remembered for his exemplary leadership and his role as a provider and teacher to his children. He led by example in all aspects of his life, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

His funeral services will be held at Trinity in Wylie, TX. A viewing will take place on August 10, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The burial will occur at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX on August 12, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM.

Lorenzo Smartt’s legacy lives on through his surviving family members including his beloved wife, children, and a multitude of friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and wisdom.

In the peaceful moments before his passing, Lorenzo was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family and friends. His memory will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.

May Lorenzo Smartt rest in eternal peace.
