Trump injured at Rally, names running mate, and more

Former president Donald Trump had a busy week that began with a shooting at a campaign rally where several Secret Service agents escorted the presidential candidate, with blood on his face, from the stage in Butler, PA , on Saturday evening.

That event that ended with the death of the shooter and a supporter was followed by the announcement of a vice presidential running mate in freshman Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH), and the opening of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI, where Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson joined Trump to address delegates.
