DEACON LESTER LOUIS THOMAS SR

Deacon Lester Louis Thomas Sr. passed away on June 25 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that touched the lives of many. He was born on September 12, 1943, and throughout his life, he exemplified and generosity.

Lester was known for his selfless nature, always willing to help others in any way He could. A devoted deacon at his church, he lived out his faith through acts of service and for those around him. Lester’s dedication to his community extended beyond the church as he worked diligently with the North East Louisiana Power and Light Co Op for over 30 years.

Family was at the center of Lester’s world, and he cherished his relationships with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. His family meant everything to him, and he took great joy in spending time with them and creating lasting memories together.

The viewing to honor and remember Lester Louis Thomas Sr. will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.  on July 5, 2024. The viewing will take place from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at New Macedonia Baptist Church in Gilbert, LA.  on July 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

In loving memory of Lester Louis Thomas Sr., may his kindness and warmth continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his gentle spirit.
