In Sulphur Springs, Texas on April 9th, 1957 Lawrence Joe Sharper and Katie Mar Sharper were blessed with their second born son and they lovingly named him Lawrence Joe Sharper Jr.

Lawrence affectionately known as “Lonnie” graduated from Kilpatrick High School in 1975.

Lonnie was a warm hearted person and loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed listening to music and dancing at all the family and friends gatherings and cookouts. He also loved meeting new people. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Lonnie knew God and spoke of his beliefs all the time throughout his life, although he was not active in church.

The Lord called him home on June 22nd, 2024.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Joe Sharper and Katie Mae Sharper.

Those left to cherish Lonnie’s memories include; sister, Cynthia Bruton, four brothers, Terry L. Sharper, Kelvin Sharper and Brian Sharper; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
