In loving memory of Calvin Gene Miller, whose light dimmed on June 4, 2024, in Dallas, TX. Calvin was a man of strong character, embodying qualities of sternness yet kindness and a deep sense of family commitment. He was born on June 26, 1951, in the quaint town of Kemp, TX.

Through the lens of those who knew him best, Calvin a devoted family man who found solace and joy in simple pleasures. His love for cooking brought warmth to many gatherings, his passion for fishing and hunting allowed him to connect with nature in its rawest form, while his fascination with shows on National Geographic opened windows to unexplored territories. Sports held a special place in Calvin’s heart, with unwavering loyalty towards teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.

As we gather to honor his life at the GOLDEN GATE FUNERAL HOME and A CREMATORY in Dallas on June 14, 2024 – from 11:00 AM  PM – for a Celebration of Life event, we cherish the memories he leaves behind. Though he may have departed this world, Calvin’s spirit lives on through his enduring legacy.

Calvin is survived by his loving family members and friends who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. May his essence continue to inspire us as we remember his remarkable journey filled with simple joys and unwavering love.
