It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dominque Montrae Weatherspoon, who departed from this world on June 1, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose presence brought light and warmth to all who knew him.

Born on April 13, 1991, Dominque’s life was a testament to his ambition and hard work. His outgoing and unstoppable nature endeared him to many, always leaving a positive impact wherever he went. Known for his kind heart and unwering determination, Dominque was truly “the chosen” in the eyes of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

His love for his family knew no bounds, especially his great fondness for his nieces and nephews. Dominque’s family-oriented nature shone through in everything he did, and his legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in their hearts.

Beyond his relationships, Dominque found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His hobbies included basketball and wrestling, activities that allowed him to express himself fully and connect with others who shared his passion.

Although we mourn the loss of Dominque from our lives, we take solace in the memories we shared with him and the lessons he imparted during his time with us. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

A viewing in honor of Dominque will be held on June 13, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in Dallas, TX. A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow on June 14, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In memory of Dominque Montrae Weatherspoon – a beacon of light extinguished too soon but whose spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
