Brandon Lamar Duke, a devoted educator and valued employee of Golden Gate Funeral Home, passed away on May 27, 2024. Born on December 16, 1985, Brandon touched the lives of many with his loving and caring nature, always striving for the success and well-being of those around him.

Brandon’s journey was marked by his passion for education, having graduated from Prairie View A&M University and he attended the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service as well. His commitment to learning and growth was evident in both his personal and professional life.

Known for his compassionate and motivational spirit, Brandon was a beacon of light to his family and friends. As a loving son, fiancé, and father, he poured endless love and support into those he held dear. His kind heart and giving soul were evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Outside of his work and family life, Brandon found joy in his fraternity Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. This brotherhood brought him closer to others who shared his values and passions.

The services to honor Brandon’s memory will be held at various locations. The visitation will take place on June 5, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer service will follow from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. On June 7th, a viewing will be held at DELL CREST CHURCH OF CHRIST in San Antonio from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

In the wake of Brandon’s passing, he is survived by his family and friends who will forever cherish the memories created with him. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

As we bid farewell to Brandon Lamar Duke, we remember a man who exemplified love, kindness, and selflessness. May his legacy inspire us to lead lives filled with compassion and generosity.
