Alpha Merit hosts annual Scholarship Beautillion in Mesquite

Mesquite, Tx – Last Saturday the Alpha Merit Scholar- ship Beautillion took place, at the Mesquite Hampton Inn and Suites bringing together a star-studded gathering to honor 15 exceptional seniors and their stunning Belles. The event was filled with surprises and moments that left everyone in awe.

  2. Beau Christian Sims-Field was escorted by Belle Jordyn Tatum.
  3. Beau Corey Williams was escorted by Megan Davis.
  4. Beau Donovan Carter was escorted by Belle Blake Evans.
  5. Beau Jeremiah McBurrows, Jr., was escorted by Belle Faith Roberts.
  6. Beau John Matthews, III. was escorted by Belle Lindsey Jenkins.
  7. Beau Jordan Joshua was escorted by Belle Kaelyn Porter.
  8. Beau Justus Wilson was escorted by Belle Laylah Hopkins.
  9. Beau Kaleb Robinson was escorted by Belle Maya Owens.
  10. Beau Kevin Crawford, Jr., was escorted by Belle Nia McKnight.
  11. Beau Miles Johnson was escorted by Kennedy Roberts.
  12. Beau Reginald Blair was escorted by Belle Emma Blackburn.

  14. Beau Zachary Stell (not present but his headshot was shown on the screen) was with his high school choir competing for the International Championship of High School A Capella Choirs in New York City.

During the evening’s festivities, the CISO XC Chair-person, Randy Potts, took the stage alongside Daniel Keeling to make an electrifying announcement. A generous donation of $5,500 was presented to the Alpha Merit organization, marking another significant contribution to their cause. This act of generosity left attendees amazed and inspired.

However, this donation was not an isolated act. Over the past two years, CISO XC and Randy Potts have consistently demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the Alpha Merit Program, with a combined total of nearly $30,000 donated. This remarkable dedication and support have made a lasting impact on the lives of talented seniors in the Dallas community.

Darwin Shaw, President of the Alpha Merit Board, expressed his excitement as he accepted this extraordinary award on behalf of the organization. The room erupted in applause, filled with admiration for the Alpha Merit Program and its incredible supporters like CISO XC and Randy Potts.

Beyond the glitz and glamour of the event, CISO XC’s mission is to build a stronger security community by uniting Cyber Security Executives and their strategic partners in a collaborative and innovative space. Their involvement with non-profit organizations further demonstrates their commitment to making a positive impact on the local community.

The event was hosted by Fox 4 Reporter Steven Dial. He was assisted by County Court Judge Lisa Green and District Judge Amber Givens.

The Alpha Merit Program is immensely grateful for the ongoing commitment and support shown by CISO XC and Randy Potts. black schools in Dallas. Over the years, the program has mentored over 20,000 boys and awarded over $150,000 in scholarships. Their structured program aims to enhance leadership skills, promote academic excellence, and broaden the social skills of young males in the Dallas area.

Alpha Merit Group Committee, Inc. is affiliated with the Alpha Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the oldest African American Greek-letter organization in the United States and abroad. The group is composed of professional men from various walks of life who play diverse roles in the DFW community.

The Alpha Merit Group co-sponsors programs such as College Fairs, Go-To-High School Go-To-College, Project Alpha, and in-school mentoring. Their three signature events are the College Fair, Annual Pancake Breakfast, and the Scholar-ship Beautillion. The College Fair provides crucial information to prospective institutions, while the Pancake Breakfast serves as an annual fundraiser. These proceeds, along with others, help fund over $15,000 in scholarships awarded during the Earnest Wallace Scholarship Beautillion. Scholarships are granted based on scholastic achievement, community service, and a 1,500-word essay on topics selected by the Alpha Merit Board.
