James Slider Jr., a dedicated construction worker for the city of Dallas, has sadly passed away at the age of 69. Born on December 8, 1954, in his beloved hometown of Dallas, Texas, James spent his life contributing to the community he called home.

Working tirelessly in the construction industry, James became known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his job. He poured his heart and soul into every project he worked on, leaving a lasting impact on the cityscape of Dallas.

Educated in the Dallas Independent School District, James developed a passion for building and creating from a young age. This passion guided him throughout his career and earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

James will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, perseverance, and dedication that will continue to inspire all those who knew him.

A viewing in memory of James Slider Jr. will be held on April 24, 2024, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, April 25, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at the same location.

As we say our final goodbyes to James Slider Jr., let us remember him for the incredible person he was – a man who built not only structures but also lasting memories in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
