Born on December 26, 1952, in the heart of Ft. Worth, Gary Mayes’ life was a tapestry woven with threads of kindness, determination, and unwavering integrity. His presence illuminated the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark that time can never erase.

On April 14, 2024, at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas, Gary Mayes bid farewell to this world. His departure left a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gary’s legacy will forever be cherished by his surviving family members.

Friends and acquaintances are invited to pay their respects at Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation in Fort Worth. A viewing will be held on April 18, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service to honor Gary’s life will take place on April 19, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM at the same location.

As we gather to celebrate Gary Mayes’ remarkable journey on Earth, let us remember his vibrant spirit and enduring love that will continue to guide us even in his physical absence. May his soul rest in eternal peace as we carry forward his legacy with love and grace.

Though he may have left this earthly realm, Gary’s light will forever shine brightly in our hearts—an everlasting beacon of hope and inspiration.
