Eric Deshon Dean, lovingly known to many as a man who cherished laughter, faith, family, and the art of grilling, passed away on March 21st. He brought joy to those around him through his contagious smile and unwavering devotion to his loved ones.

Born on August 4th, 1975, Eric led a life filled with a deep love for the Lord and a passion for creating mouthwatering barbecue as a Pitt Master. His talents extended beyond the grill as he enjoyed dancing, singing, and swimming—activities that reflected his vibrant spirit and zest for life. 

During his time with us, Eric’s graceful movements and melodious voice brought light into the lives of many. Those who had the privilege of crossing paths with Eric knew him as a vibrant individual with a passion for dance and singing. His dedication to his hobbies of dance and singing not only brought him personal fulfillment but also touched the hearts of those around him. Whether he was gliding across the dance floor or filling a room with his soulful tunes, Eric’s talents were truly remarkable.

Friends and family will always remember Eric for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and unwavering kindness. He had a way of lighting up any room he entered and making everyone feel welcomed and accepted. His compassion knew no bounds, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. His laughter was, spreading happiness wherever he went. Those fortunate enough to know him understood the depth of kindness and generosity resided in his heart.

Eric will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving family and friends who will carry his legacy in their hearts forever. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the music and dance that he so adored.

As friends and family prepare to bid farewell at the visitation service scheduled for March 29th at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, memories of Eric’s laughter, faith, and delicious barbecues will serve as a lasting tribute to a remarkable man who touched countless lives.

In this time of mourning, let us remember Eric Deshon Dean’s remarkable legacy—a legacy defined by love, laughter, faith, and the sizzle of barbecue that will forever linger in our hearts. May he rest in peace knowing he brought smiles to all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.
