Christopher Ray Dears, born on August 29, 1984, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2024, in his hometown. With a heavy heart, we mourn the loss of a cherished son, brother, and friend who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him.

Christopher’s educational journey began at Morning Side Middle School where he pursued Spanish emission courses. Fueled by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Christopher later embarked on Pre-Med and successfully graduated from Northside High School. With unwavering determination, he continued to fuel his intellectual growth at the University of Texas at Arlington.

But Christopher’s impact extended far beyond academia. He was a beacon of light and possessed a heart filled with care and kindness. His genuine love for others knew no bounds as he consistently went above and beyond to ensure everyone around him wore a smile. Christopher had an extraordinary ability to uplift spirits and create a warm and welcoming environment.

Survived by his mother Wayna Dears, father Bennie Dears, sister Samantha Graves (Marcus), and brothers Chad Wilkerson (Diana) and Cory Wilkerson; seven nephews and three nieces. Christopher leaves behind a profound void in the lives of his family members and friends. His untimely departure will undoubtedly leave an everlasting imprint on their hearts.
