Benjamin Younger V, a teacher at Twin Creeks Middle School, in the Spring Independent School District, a suburb of Houston, TX, was recently awarded “Teacher of the Year” by the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce.
The “Double Tiger,” who graduated from Lincoln Humanities and Communications Magnet High School in 1993 and Grambling State University in 2000, teaches Theater Arts.
Younger is married to Erreshea Younger, also a teacher in the Spring Independent School District, and they are the proud parents of four children and three grandchildren. Younger is a football and basketball coach and also produces an annual theater performance with his students.
