Marty McDonald is Kicking Down the Boy’s Club

By Allana J. Barefield
Staff Writer

Marty McDonald is kicking down the boy’s club by creating a safe place for women. McDonald started Boss Women Media in 2018 to uplift and unite Black women to escalate their careers.

“Seeing Black women thrive, create and grow is how change happens in our community,” McDonald said.

McDonald said Boss Women Media women attend events to gather valuable information that would be beneficial in their lives. He will be sitting on a panel discussing entrepreneurship during the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce’s Quest for Success Awards on October 6 at noon.

“This is such a pivotal time for Black people and showing up is necessary and since we can’t gather in person, virtual is the best way to execute this event,” McDonald said.
