RELEASE: Tens of Thousands of People Expected to Register to Vote Before Monday Deadline

The Deadline to Register to Vote in the November Election is Monday

Austin, Texas — This Monday, October 5 is the deadline to register to vote in Texas for the upcoming November election.

More people than ever before are registered to vote in Texas (16.6 million) and we expect to see those numbers continue to rise after all deadline registrations are processed.  

Unregistered Texans looking to register before the Monday deadline should go to RegisterTexas.com for information on how they can get registered before the deadline.

They can also head to TexasRegistrationMap.com to find a map of voter registration locations near them.   

Texas Democratic Party Voter Expansion Director Luke Warford issued the following statement:

“The voter registration deadline is almost here. We expect tens of thousands of Texans to register to vote in the final days alone. If you want to make your voice heard in November and help vote in a new generation of leadership at the local, state, and national level, you must get registered to vote. Voter registration is central to Texas Democrats’ path to victory.
