The Black Women Lawyers Association of Tarrant County Selects Annual Scholarship Winners

The  Black Women Lawyers Association of Tarrant County has selected its 2020 Charlye O. Farris Scholarship winners. The Association, which exists to identify and address the issues impacting black women lawyers in order to increase their numbers and success in the legal profession, provided seven scholarships this year, even without it’s annual Hotter Than July Happy Hour fundraiser.

“It is a testament to the strength of Black lady lawyers that the organization was still able to help law students during this global pandemic,” said Attorney Valerie D. Baston.
