Dallas ISD COVID-19 Update: September 16

DALLAS — Dallas ISD is urging parents to fill out a survey on their preference of face-to-face or distance learning once students can return to the campus. The poll will remain open through the upcoming week. 

The survey is available in English (here) and Spanish (here). 

Curbside meals will be offered throughout the 2020-2021 school year
Dallas ISD will continue to offer curbside meals for registered Dallas ISD students for the 2020–2021 school year. A week’s worth of food will be distributed from 4 to 6:30 pm. Parents will be able to preorder their meals here and select the most convenient school location for pickup here.  Students’ identification numbers will be required for pickup. 

Dallas ISD to hold virtual job fair for maintenance and facility positions
From 3 to 5 pm, on Wednesday, September 23, Dallas ISD will host a virtual job fair for the Maintenance & Facility Services departments. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply prior to the event, which will feature opportunities to virtually interview with supervisors. To register, click here

Dallas ISD offers call center for transportation inquiries
From 7 am to 5:30 pm, this week, Dallas ISD’s parents will be able to ask questions related to transportation, both in English and Spanish, by calling the Transportation department’s Call Center at 972-925-4287.
