DESOTO–The DeSoto Independent School District announces a Community Training for Effective Governance on Tuesday, September 22 at 6 pm. The session will be held virtually and is open to all members of the community.
The session attendees can expect to gain information in the following areas:
- How school boards create the conditions for improving student outcomes
- Community’s role in school board accountability
- Board’s role in superintendent accountability
The event is currently scheduled to occur via the Zoom link below. Participants should plan to log in at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session and follow the training session protocols. No pre-registration required.
