The Dallas Mavericks are bringing the athletic learning experience online. The Mavs recently introduced Mavs Academy for students to enroll in the fall.

Coach Rick Carlisle is a huge supporter of this program and doesn’t want children to miss out on the opportunity to participate in different camps virtually. He said the camps are an excellent way  for students to stay active and entertained during COVID-19.

The camps will include development, dance, gaming, and hoops. On their website, it states, “Mavs Academy brings the excitement of the NBA to your community and is the most-trusted source for basketball, dance, and gaming for all skill levels.”

The Academy is made up of professional coaches who give tips regarding health and leadership. For example, there will be small group trainings made up of three participants and focusing on fundamentals that can be easily practiced at home.

The Academy’s main priority is to keep everyone safe by offering virtual sessions.
