Robert Lee Whitmill, Sr. (December 8, 1930 ~ May 8, 2023)

Robert Lee Whitmill

Robert Lee Whitmill was born on December 8, 1930, in Whitehouse Texas to  Horace Whitmill and Eliza Whitmill. He received his education from the Whitehouse Public School System. He received Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He confessed his faith in God and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.  Upon his demise, he was a faithful member of the Christway Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Calvin Roper.

Robert united in holy matrimony to Fannie Mae Taylor on August 4, 1956.  To this union, seven children were born. Robert favorite past time was fishing, hunting, and playing dominoes.  He was a loving and caring father to all his children.  

On May 08, 2023, Robert answered his heavenly call for rest, where there is no more sickness or pain. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Fannie Mae Whitmill; his parents, Horace, and Eliza Whitmill; his sister, Verline Whitmill; brothers, Booker T. Whitmill, AC Whitmill, H J Whitmill, and Amazier Whitmill.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories:  eight children Charles Taylor, Linda Taylor, Willie Whitmill (Sharlene), Carolyn Coles (Ronald), Robert Lee Whitmill Jr., Jackie Whitmill (Dianne), Sheron Hopkins, and Dorothy Turner; eleven grandchildren, Bernard Taylor, Kim Yata Moody, Jeanette and Janice Taylor, Valarie Coles, LaKiecia Whitmill, Rokiecia Whitmill, Anthony Terry Nichols Jr., Taylor Marchelle Hopkins, Jackie Whitmill Jr., and Deandra Whitmill; eight great grandchildren, special friends, Rosa Coleman, Laura Potter, and Latoya Scott, along with a host of other relatives and friends who he loved dearly.
