On May 9, 1967, in Dallas, TX a bouncing baby boy was born to Cleotha & Dovie Polk Sr. CLEOTHA POLK JR. attended Elementary School, Junior High School & High School in the Dallas Independent School District of Dallas, TX. 

As a student at South Oak Cliff High School, he played football. Cleotha’s favorite past time was singing and entertaining others.  He loved making people laugh.  He had a very special bond with his dog, Brady.  

Like any pet parent, he fed, cuddled, and played with him.  Brady was his best friend. His lifetime employment was spent as a certified electrician and maintenance supervisor and was employed until his health failed. Cleotha was married to Karen Elizabeth Polk for 25 years until his homegoing.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Cleotha, Sr., Mother, Dovie Polk, and Brother, Romey Polk. He quietly confessed his faith in God and accepted Jesus before he died. He closed his eyes in eternal slumber May 5, 2023 at Baylor Scott White, McKinney, TX.

He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory: His wife, Karen Elizabeth Polk, one sister, Toni (Eugene) Ned, one brother, Stanley Earl (Theresa) Polk, two daughters, La’Kia and Lakisha Polk, one son, Cayden Rochford; 11 grandchildren, Za’Kyrieh, Zay’den, Zyrian, Zynniah, Zuri, Za’Mir, Zy’Elle, Brandon, Jr., Bry’Annah, Bray’Len, and Breyun. Many aunts & uncles; nieces and nephews; host of cousins and two very close friends; Sylvester Brown and Douglas Lee.
