Teresa Michelle (Jackson) Beene known as “Resa” to many, transitioned to her heavenly home, Saturday, March 25, 2023.

Teresa Michelle Beene was born July 12, 1976, in Haynesville, Louisiana to Willie Murphy and Gloria Jean Jackson. She has three brothers and one sister; she was the second oldest of four children.

One daughter, Kiona Swanese Jackson Boone and father, Willie Murphy and maternal and paternal grandparents preceded her in death.

She attended and graduated from Haynesville high and upon graduating; she enlisted in the United States Army where she served for two (2) years.

She lived in Haynesville, Louisiana until moving to Dallas, Texas in 1997 where she later met and married Aric Beene and to this union; two children were born.

Teresa accepted Christ at an early age and was devoted to her love of the lord and her family. She was an active member of the union church under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Charles c. Martin, Sr., where she served diligently as the director of children and youth ministry for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years Aric Beene, two sons Christian and Xavian Beene, one step-son Joseph Beene of (Dallas, TX); mother Gloria jean Jackson of (Haynesville, la); one sister Tasha (bonnie) Shelton of (Haynesville, la); three brothers, Clifton (Mona) baker of (Emerson, AR); Leon (Mandy) Jackson of (Haynesville, la), Willie Jackson of (Emerson, AR) and one best-friend Faye McCoy of (Garland, TX); four uncles and one aunt and a host of other beloved family and friends.
