James Ray Allen Jr. was born September 7, 1942 to the parentage of Amanda Caver and James Ray Allen Sr., in Eldorado, Arkansas. James accepted Christ at an early age and believed in the golden rule of treating people the way you want to be treated. He graduated from Washington High School – Eldorado Arkansas in 1960. James also known as “Razor-Red”, moved to Dallas Texas in 1963.
In 1965 to the union of Mary Lou Stanley, a son Gregory Allen was born. In 1981 to the union of Carolyn Hiners, a daughter Jennifer LaShonda Hiners-Allen was born. In 1989, Razor met and married Syble Payne-Allen in Compton, California, where no children were born to this union. They remained married until her demise in 2021. Razor-Red always had an eye for the highway. He began a career as an 18-wheeler driver and loved every moment of his journey.
He stood on the slogan “The streets are made to be ran, as long as they keep building roads”. By this, we know that his heart was filled with what life had to offer. Knowing Razor-Red is knowing he was a man of integrity with a caring spirit to anyone that crossed his path. He loved his family and built his values on his life for his family.
Proceeding James in death are his Parents, brothers Bobby, Ronald and Billy, Sisters Hattie, Peggy, Marie and Mildred, a Beloved Granddaughter Dymanique Nash(Pie) proceeded James in death as well. Mary Lou, Syble and Carolyn also proceeded James in death. James leaves to cherish his memories Son Gregory Allen, daughter, Jennifer LaShonda Hiners-Allen (Micheal), God daughter Tomeiko Seigle. Sisters Helen Luckey (Wilbert} and Diane Jackson. Grand-children – Brandon Harris, Sammy Washington, LaQuason Franklin, Fahren Allen, Fallen Allen, Finity Allen, Aluanti Brown, Aquira Hiners, Brailyn Franklin, Dijanique Nash, Xssence Barnes and Denim Allen. Great grandchildren – Gregory Jr., Breylon, Gabriel, Baileigh, Brandon Jr., Sa’Miya, Kaleigh, Kaden, Azion, Amari, Sakairah, Samauri, Kazyia, and Xssandria, A very special Great-nephew – Marcus Allen, with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
