Sherry Ann Griffin

Sherry Ann Griffin was born on November 10, 1959 to her parents, Nethalia James and J.T. Stiggers. She was one of thirteen children. She was born in Naples Texas. She attended Hughes Springs High School and later graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication and Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.

On September 8, 1989 she married Larry Dorneel Griffin. Sis. Griffin came to know the Lord through the ministry of Full Gospel Holy Temple. She faithfully served the Lord. She was a member of the usher board and Women Ministers Auxiliary.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alfred James, Clayborne James, Sherman James, and the twins. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. Most of all, she enjoyed serving others, whether it be at church or in the workplace.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Larry Griffin Sr.; two children: Loren Danyelle Griffin (daughter); Larry Griffin Jr. (son). Four sisters: Nina Rainey, Jerridean Sadberry, Carolyn Miller, and Artie C. Freeman. Three brothers: Herman (Elizabeth) Lewis, George (Mary) Rainey, and Daniel Rainey. She also leaves a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
