Gloria Mendez was born August 12, 1967, to Jose and Carmen Mendez in Kaufman Texas. She was raised and resided in Dallas Texas.

Gloria loved unconditionally. Gloria was a one of a kind; she was selfless with a heart of gold. She loved her family immensely, near and far. Always nurturing, despite her own needs. Her passion, making others smile.

Gloria loved cooking, especially for others. She had a love for jewelry, and often made pieces for herself, such as necklaces and bracelets. Arts and crafts were also a love of hers; drawing and coloring was another one of her pastimes.

Gloria is preceded in death by her father, Jose Mendez and brother, Joe Mendez.

Gloria leaves to cherish her loving memory to her Mom, Carmen Mendez; Life Partner, Gerardo Gonzalez; sons, Alfredo Murillo (Irma), Vincent Murillo, Gerardo Gonzalez Jr (Emily Ortega) and Johnny Gonzalez; daughter, Alexis Murillo; grandchildren, Jayden Murillo, Josiah Murillo, Joseph Murillo, Emily Gonzalez, Giovanni Gonzalez, Analiyah Gonzalez, Stella Blue Murillo; sisters, Mary Gonzales and Francis Mendez; and brothers, Javier Mendez, Gabriel Mendez and Gerardo Mendez; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
