Ocie Leen Gray

October 11, 1930 – November 10, 2022

Ocie Leen Gray, 92 was born October 11, 1930, to Jasper Evans and Larcenie Thomas in Somerville, Texas. She received her formal education and graduated from Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas. She furthered her education at Prairie View University.

In Remembrance Ocie Leen Gray 1930-2022

She was married to Charles Gray for 52 years. Ocie worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for many years and then became a teacher’s assistant until her retirement in 1979.

She was a faithful member of The Potter’s House of Dallas, Texas.

Ocie went home to be with the Lord on Thursday November 10, 2022

Proceeding her in death is her husband, Charles Gray; and her daughter, Sabrina Stubblefield. She leaves to celebrate her homegoing: Her daughter, Tanya Jones (Bruce); her son, Shawn Gray; her brother, Billy Phillips (Dorothy); her sister, Earnestine Philips; her grandsons, Christopher Craig, Collin Craig and Destin Gray; her granddaughter, Whitney Craig; her nephew, William Phillips; her niece, Jana Phillips and other relatives and friends.

Her love for the Lord and her positive attitude affected all the lives of those who knew her. Ocie will be remembered as loving and kindhearted and will be greatly missed.
