Remembrance Clara Bell Roach 1955-2022

Clara Bell Roach, age 67, an adoring wife to Jerry William Roach Sr., loving mother of Jerry (Yvette) Roach Jr and Sherika Brownlee – Roach passed away in the early hours of November 12, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 19th of 1955 in Grace, Mississippi to Frank and Bernice Rose Giles along with seven siblings. Clara was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring mother, always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into her motherhood. She married her husband Jerry on May 19th of 1972. They were blessed with 4 grandchildren; Davonte Brownlee, Jaylyn Roach, Zaria Brownlee, and Jonari Smith whom the spoiled as much and often has they could.

Clara came to Christ on Valentine’s Day of 1979 at Bibleway Apostolic Temple where her walk with Christ began, and she was an active member for over 10 years. She loved to help others, spend time with family and spread the word of God. The Lord called her to pastor in 1993 and she held up the blood-stained banner until she was called home.

She leaves to cherish her siblings; Frank (Theresa) Giles Jr, Minnie Giles, Patricia Giles, James Giles, Odessa Giles and Keon Giles and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Clara was preceded in death by her mother; Bernice Rose Giles and sister; Fannie Mae Giles.
