JOSEPH WILLIAMS

 In Remembrance JOSEPH WILLIAMS

Joseph Hosea Williams was born in Gunnison, Mississippi to the late Joseph (Joe) and Mary Magdalene on August 6, 1943.  His masterpiece of life was completed on November 19, 2022.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior early in life and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas.  He will always be remembered for his warm smile, love for the Bible, lovable personality, jokes, his stories about life and love for all.

He was united in marriage to Loretta Samuel Williams for 39 years. Joseph Hosea leaves her to cherish his memory with their children Ginger Obiegbedi (Keston), Rosalynn Bates (Ricky), Katrina Williams Morgan (Eric), Jerry Miller (Sheena), Kyiandra Cook (Derome), Barry Joseph Hosea Williams (Pearl), Hosea “Chucky” Williams and the children of the late Maria Miller, Demtruis Leanore, Devante King (Melanie) and Torrance Hall Miller, who were all entrusted to be raised by their grandparents; four sisters, Brenda Faye Williams, Ruth Williams, Labertha Umbriet (Scott) and Judy Williams (Dennis), one brother, Jerry Williams (Teresa); a special niece, Katrice Puckett, bonus daughter Victoria Parker, godson Adam Clark (Christina) and special friend-David Williams (Holly); 27 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joseph Hosea was preceded in death by two daughters, Chinna Williams Campbell (Earl) and Maria Miller; sisters, Joyce Flinn Williams and Joe Lee McElrath and brother, Terry Williams.
