In Remembrance Eric Mims

Eric Un’Dray Mims Sr. was born August 6, 1967 to Danny Dennis and Bobbie Mims in Ft. Worth, TX. Eric graduated from Diamond Hill high school. He moved to Dallas in 1988 where he met the love of his life, Nicole Mims. In the January of 2001, Eric married the love of his life. They went on to have three beautiful children Eric Mims Jr., Christopher Mims, and Erica Mims.

In 2001, Eric visited the powerful ministry of Full Gospel Holy Temple Headquarters church under the leadership of Apostle Lobias Murray and Evangelist Shirley Murray. While visiting the church he got saved and filled with the holy ghost where he became a member under two great leaders.

After several years in Dallas, Eric retired from Sears. A dedicated family man he was. He loved to cook, take his grandkids to he park and spend time with his children. He found pride and joy in being a devoted husband and father. Eric loved cartoons and eating full sheet cakes as well as snack cakes. He also enjoyed playing video games with the kids in the family. He was truly a jack of all trades, he could fix anything. Eric was a hard worker who never complained. He was always smiling and cracking jokes trying to uplift someone’s day. He was truly a great friend always going out of his way to help and be there for others.

He leaves behind his three children, Eric Jr, Christopher, Erica; and eleven grandkids. Erics greatest gift in life was the love he gave and showed to his family.
