 Don K. Darrby

On Sunday, November 27, 2022, Don Kermit Darby, loving father of one daughter, passed away at age 75 in Duncanville, Texas.

Don was born on December 19, 1946, in Austin, TX to James and Juanita (Medearis) Darby, Sr. He attended Anderson High School. After graduation he served in the US Army.

Don was known for his compassionate spirit and willingness to help where ever he was spending his time. He enjoyed a good game of dominoes, cooking on the grill and crafting, making wallets, checkbook covers, belts and other crafts that family and friends enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Darby, Sr., mother, Juanita, brother Kenneth Darby, Sr.(Gwen). He is survived by daughter, Shawnte Darby, grandson, Tremayne Miller, great granddaughter Madison Ari Miller, brothers, James R. Darby, Jr., Joseph Darby (Lillie), sister Hortense Drain and several nieces, nephews, cousins. Dad, if I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see “Yourself” through “My Eyes”. Love your Daughter, Shawnte.
