Jim Austin Online Announces Grown Folks Jazz May Line-Up

Fort Worth, TX–Grown Folks Jazz is back! Enjoy a smooth night in every Thursday night when Jim Austin Online presents the free online music series hosted by legendary radio personality SAM PUTNEY of the Skip Murphy Morning Show!

Grown Folks Jazz features some of DFW’s top musicians and offers Jazz lovers the opportunity to enjoy the smooth grooves they love from the comfort and safety of home! “Once shelter in place orders were issued, we had to discontinue the live music series temporarily,” says promoter Jim Austin. “But we wanted to keep bringing this amazing music to the people; so, like many live entertainment venues, we made the pivot to presenting the shows online and free of charge. It’s a great way to enjoy some amazingly talented musicians and take our minds off the current situation for a while.”

FINGERPRINTS perform on May 21st and TAYLOR PACE with opening artist THERESE-MARIE close out the month on May 28th

The broadcast is free on Facebook.com/JimAustinOnline. The show starts at 7:30 pm. There will be an option to tip the band to help support these local artists during the COVID-19 crisis. For more information or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, call 817-923-9305.

Grown Folks Jazz is sponsored in part by DFW Metroplex Jazz, The Warehouse on Berry, Austin Company Commercial Real Estate, CSI Renovations & Roofing, United Carpet Cleaning, Stockyards Podcast Studios, Radisson Hotel Fossil Creek and Tarrant County College District.
