Army nurse Taneesha gave her two girls the ultimate surprise when she returned home after being away for almost a year. Up first was her daughter Nykira; mom popped up at the WaWa grocery store where her oldest daughter was working and was instantly met with the biggest hug. Nykira hugged her mom super tight and danced with excitement to finally have her mom back in her presence. The tears began to flow and that’s when it was onto the next!

The mom surprised her youngest daughter Yani at her school. There, Yani was playing a game in the gymnasium where she was blindfolded and had to write a phrase. After taking her blindfold off and reading the phrase “welcome home mom,” she looked around the room perplexed. Everyone looked in the direction of Taneesha and that’s when Yani knew mom was back. She immediately burst into tears and ran to meet her mother at the bottom of the steps. The part that makes it even better is that it was Yani’s 14th birthday!

The room was filled with cheer and love. Taneesha said it feels so good to surprise her girls and that this day was the best day of her life!
