On Monday, Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson will officially proclaim April 16, 2022, as Errol “The Truth” Spence Jr. Day in the City of Dallas.The mayor’s announcement honors Spence Jr., the hometown hero and unified welterweight world champion, ahead Spence’s upcoming fight on Saturday, April 16 at AT&T Stadium. The unbeaten Spence Jr. will face WBA champion Yordenis Ugas in a welterweight championship unification clash live on SHOWTIME PPV headlining a Premier Boxing Champions event.
