Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Bill Signed by Biden

The Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Act defines lynching as “any conspired bias-motivated offense which results in death or serious bodily injury.” It was passed by the U.S House of Representatives on February 28, 2022, and U.S. Senate on March 7, 2022, and signed into law on March 29, 2022, by President Joe Biden.
