Markeyta Mitchell is an attorney whose specialty is in commercial and estate planning. A Memphis, Tennessee native, she also specializes in corporate governance and contract disputes and has experience defending physicians in medical malpractice suits. Before moving to Texas, she served as a judicial clerk for the Tennessee Attorney’s General’s office, the Mecklenburg Public Defender’s office and several law firms. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and the J.L. Turner Legal Association. Markeyta earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her law degree from Charlotte School of Law in North Carolina.
