Deadline Approaching for FC Dallas Homegrown Partner Program

Initiative Geared Toward Minority-Owned Businesses

Applications for FC Dallas’ 2022 Homegrown Partner Program close on Sunday, November 28 at 11:59PM CT.

The program, in its second year and supported by MTX Group, Inc (MTX), awards two minority-owned Businesses an individually customized FC Dallas corporate partnership package. Through the initiative, FC Dallas is committing more than $200,000 to its Homegrown Partners in 2022.

FC Dallas first announced the Homegrown Partner Program in June 2020 along with a series of initiatives as part of the club’s Connect | Create | Unite platform that focuses on connecting people, creating opportunities and uniting communities.

Five businesses were part of FC Dallas’ 2021 inaugural class; Casa M Spice, GRIT Fitness, Reveal Suits, Smokey John’s Bar-B-Que, Urban Hydration.

“We saw our 2021 Homegrown Partners increase sales, expand into different markets and grow their businesses. It was a remarkable success story,” said FC Dallas President Dan Hunt, in a prepared statement. “We’re looking forward to working with our 2022 class to help them drive their businesses and make an impact in their communities.”

More information and applications, which opened November 1, can be found online at FCDallas.com/HomegrownPartnerProgram FC Dallas, is an American professional soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The club competes as a member of the Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS) and was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn. They play their home games at Toyota Stadium in Frisco.
