Black Girls Missing – WE CARE

At a town hall meeting presented by Dr. Ester Davis and sponsored by Jones 2000, WFAA-TV, Club VIVO and Kelly Law Firm, with Terry Allen PR and National Council of Negro Women, the discussion focused on understanding the issue, identifying solutions and garnering support for those who are working to bring attention to the plight of Black women and girls. Moderated by Dr. Keisha Lankford, a Cedar Hill Board Trustee; others who spoke include State Rep. Carl O. Sherman Sr., Survivor Tanya Stafford, Judge Sandra Jackson, Dallas County Constable Tracey Gulley, and advocate Beverly Pickens, founder of The Real Promise. Read more in Texas Metro News.
