1 dead, another injured in shooting early Sunday in Pleasant Grove, police say

Investigators believe that the shooting occurred in the 1800 block of South Buckner Boulevard, according to police.

A man died at the hospital early Christmas Day after he was shot in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police said.

Shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, officers who were at a hospital learned that two people with gunshot injuries had arrived without the help of emergency medical crews, police said in a news release.

One person died at the hospital and the other was treated and released, police said.

Police did not share any information related to the identities of the two people who were shot.

Investigators believe that the shooting occurred in the 1800 block of South Buckner Boulevard, police said.
