On “From Marva with Love,” we recently heard from Denise Ford, a Certified Herbal Health Coach, Minister, and Founder of Perfect Health Holistic Institute, Inc. a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. She opened the first Black-owned health food and supplement store in the Dallas/Fort Worth area called Perfect Health Nutrition Center, previously located in Wynnewood Shopping Center in Dallas, Texas. She has educated, motivated, and supported people of all ages to live a healthier, happier life. She is available for one-on-one health coaching and classes offered in her office, churches, schools, businesses, and homes.
MS: Denise, what is it that we need to do to be healthy?
DF: Yes, it is important that we strive to have perfect health. I always say perfect and that’s God’s way. Because 3rd John verse 2 tells us “Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” So it’s very important that we do seek the face of God for healing and direction as far as eating and giving us the strength to do that. The reason why I say that is because we know what to do and how to be healthy but, it’s a challenge being healthy and practicing it on a daily basis. It is so important especially now with what we are dealing with. We have to make sure we have a strong immune response. Our immune system is our whole body but we have to have a strong immune response meaning that we can come in contact with diseases but, at the same time, what is your immune system like? Are you able to fight it off and how is it going to respond? I’ve been into holistic health for over 37 years. I specialize in herbology, the study of herbs and the benefits of herbs. Herbs are plants that our Heavenly Father has put here on earth to consume as food and nourishment and as we feed our body properly our body is capable of healing itself. We have to learn about these herbs because there is a herb that can heal every disease in our body.
We talked about so much more. Denise does a body analysis and can help to determine what the body needs. She talked about eating clean food and drinking alkaline water. To hear the full interview and learn how to strive for perfect health, go to BlogTalkRadio.com
